PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE Town of Newfane Vermont Development Review Board P.O.Box 36 Newfane, VT 05345 Tel (802) 365 7772 Fax (802) 365 7692 The Newfane Development Review Board (DRB) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 7th at 6:00 PM at Newfane Town Hall 555 Vermont Roue 30 in Newfane and via zoom. The hearing is to consider the application #24-007 by Deane Wilson for a minor subdivision of Tax Lot 00A09, 15.7 acres of land at 505 South Wardsboro Road into three residential lots. The submission requirements of the Newfane Subdivision Bylaw are found at Article 4 and a list of plan requirements for minor or major subdivisions is found at Section 4.3 and is presented as a checklist. Per section 4.2, final plat review is required for all applications for subdivision. The final plat shall consist of one or more maps or drawings on paper with all dimensions shown and drawn to scale and prepared by a licensed land surveyor or registered civil engineer. The applicant is required to bring the required paper plan and supporting information and documentation as detailed in Section 4.3 of the subdivision bylaw to the hearing. The application to be considered at the hearing is available for public review at the Newfane Town office, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Persons wishing to appear at the public hearing may do so in person or via zoom as well as by a representative or attorney or through written comment. Participation in the public hearing portion of these proceedings is a prerequisite to the right to take any subsequent appeal.
